Opioid Pain Management in Serious Illness: Assessing the Educational Needs of Patients and Families Across the Lifespan was developed by HPNA's Palliative Nursing Summit Pain and Symptom Management Project Team.
The current opioid crisis is creating challenges to patients' and families' comfort with taking opioid medications for serious illnesses.
